Shape Up America

While researching organizations for Diabetes, we came across Shape Up America! Founded in 1994, Shape Up America! is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization committed to raising awareness of obesity as a health issue and to providing responsible information on healthy weight management. Obesity is associated with five of the ten leading causes of death and disability in the United States -- heart disease, some forms of cancer, type 2 diabetes, stroke, and hypertension (high blood pressure). For this reason, we have chosen to add Shape Up America to our list of charities to support. We will be donating a minimum of $5.00 from the sale of each item on this page to Shape Up America!.
