Peter, M.D., Ph.D., the Founder of the Specialty Family Laboratories and Specialty Family Foundation has died.  Dr. Jom was 76 years old.  Dr. Jim is well known in the field of medicine for his contributions to science, particularly, for his contributions to laboratory practices.  We here at Holy Name of Jesus School, the other 11 schools that are members of the Catholic Schools Consortium which he also formed and families throughout Los Angeles, will remember him best for his vision of making Catholic elementary schools "nuggets" in inner city communities.  We pray for God's continued grace and blessings on his wife and children and siblings.  Rosary Service will be held Monday, November 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Monica's Church.  Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 10:15 p.m. at St. Monica's Church in Santa Monica, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetary.
