Mandatory Parent Meeting - There will be mandatory parent meeting for Grades K -3 at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.
 
No School - November 6, 2009:  HNOJ won't be having regular classes on Friday, November 6, 2009.  Instead, all grades will be having parent conferences.  Get in touch with your teacher if you are unaware of your appointment.
 
No School - November 11, 2009:  HNOJ won't be having regular classes on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 for the commemoration of Veteran's Day.  HNOJ is proud of all U.S. Service Men and Women and veterans.
 
No School - November 25, 2009: HNOJ won't be having regular classes on Wednesday, November 25, 2009. The school will be hosting a teacher in-service training from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
 
No School - November 26 & 27, 2009: HNOJ won't be having regular classes on Thursday and Friday, November 26 & 27, 2009 to celebrate Thanksgiving.
 
Thanksgiving Food Drive:  HNOJ's Thanksgiving Food Drive runs from Monday, November 16 to Tuesday, November 24, 2009.  Each class will assist in preparing Thanksgiving Dinner Boxes to give to special families in our community. Each student is asked to bring a specific food item plus $1.00 to help cover the cost of a turkey.  We thank you in advance for your generosity.  May God continue to bless you and your family this holiday season.

Mandatory Parent Meeting will be held for parents of students in Grades K - 3 on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.  Please attend and be on time.

Mandatory Parent Meeting: Grades 4 - 6
 
Mandatory parent meeting will be held for parents of students in Grades 4 - 6 on Tuesday, November10, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Please attend and be on time.

Mandatory Parent Meeting: Grades 7 - 8
 
Mandatory parent meeting will be held for parents of students in Grades 7 & 8 on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.

Physical Education Program:

HNOJ students now have many more choices for P.E. All students in 3rd - 8th grade now get P.E. classes on Monday from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
 
These students now have the opportunity to participate in one of the following:
  • Praise Dance
  • Modern Dance
  • Aerobics
  • Cheerleading
  • Taekwondo
  • Flag Football 

Parents: Remember that in addition to these new P.E. classes students still have the option of auditioning for the school choir.

 

Thanksgiving Mass and Praise Concert:
 
Thanksgiving Mass and Praise Concert will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2009. The Mass for Grades K - 8 will start at 9:30 a.m. The free concert willk be held at 1:00 p.m. Come on out and see our students display their talents. 

Advent Workshop:
 
Advent workshop will be held in the Hall from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.. All are invited and the cost of the event will be $10.00.

Awards Ceremony
 
The awards ceremony for the 1st quarter will be held during the Mass for Grades K - 4. The Mass starts at 9:30 a.m. and the ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m.
