NEW PROGRAMS OFFER SUPPORT FOR MORE THAN JUST BODY/MIND/SPIRIT
Susan Palmieri, PhD, Doctor of Integrative Medicine, herbalist and educator, offers students the opportunity to transform
their experience of illness by focusing on wellness and health.
"Learning to view the body as a whole system is important
in healing," says Dr. Susan. "Many students come to class with the desire to cure diseases by treating the body only with
medicines and other therapies. How effective is that, when the real problem may be the stress of your job, your family, or
how you view the world?"
This program gives the student the opportunity to see the ways that the mind, spirit and
body integrate with family, career, social, and personal issues.
In this program, students will learn to make choices
on what traditional therapies to pursue and what alternative programs fit into their need to heal completely.
Diet,
energy work, meditation, acupuncture, massage, breathwork, are just a few of the complementary modalities that are discussed.
Be prepared to take charge of your healing with the assistance of your medical and Holopathic Healing team.
A
participant states, "My cancer diagnosis shook my world. I went to my medical team because I wanted a cure. Then, I came to
learn about holistic healing and realized that before I could be cured, I had to be healed. I learned how to choose activities
in my life that promote health through medical, psychological, emotional and spiritual resources. I am no longer focused on
my illness or dying, but on the journey I have and the blessings that life offers."
Another states, "I read a lot
of self-help books. I found it hard to integrate all of the material into my life. I couldn't find the time to do the things
I really wanted. After Developing a Holopathic Healing Plan, I reframed and restructured my priorities and found that change
is easy. I simply made the changes that were right for me, and not the rest of the world."
Individual consultation
and support is available on a one-to-one basis for anyone confronting the issues that accompany life-threatening illness.
For all other issues, including disease prevention, stress management and professional development, the program, Developing
a Holopathic Healing Plan may serve your needs.

The practice of Medicine is changing in America
to include more alternative, complementary and holistic programs that work together with traditional therapies.
We now know that almost 80% of all patients use
some form of alternatives in their personal quest for wellness. However, less than 5% of medical doctors recommend alternatives,
and, less than 20% of all patients tell their doctors what they're doing "on the side."
Health crisis is defined as any state of mind, body,
emotion, spirit, relationship, personal, social, financial or job-related events that creates imbalance. We can also be affected
by our local environments, and our home and workplaces.
There are many culprits in creating imbalance,
and Creating Miracles seeks to teach people how to refine, define and recreate health in all areas of life.
Integrative Medicine is a field
that combines alternative, complementary and holistic services that are available to patients that can help facilitate health
in the body, mind, spirit, and also across other dimensions of self-healing.
What our practice has to offer to all
patients is the ability to develop a comprehensive healing plan, and then, offer enrollment in programs that teach both research
and practical tools to begin the process of Creating Miracles.

For Healers and Health Care Practitioners
|
|
In the Great Lakes area, there are many communities of healers
and alternative health care practitioners. In larger urban areas, they network to form healing centers, or may become a part
of a hospital or clinic's innovative health programming.
Regardless of the community's size, the missing ingredient
to these networks is a standardized curriculum that teaches all practitioners how to identify health crises in energy terms.
In energy medicine, we don't claim a disease by conventional diagnostic terms. Yes, we recognize that patients have
cancer, fibromyalgia, or a number of conventionally diagnosed chronic or life-threatening diseases.
The difference
in holopathic medicine is that we look at the energy of the patient, and look at the variety of causes of the dis-ease. "Holos"
refers to the whole person, and "pathos" means we have a sensitivity to the symptoms and energy level of the individual. The
term "patho" also links us to "pathology" which means we are looking at causes of discomfort or imbalance.
For those
interested in learning a standard method for determining how any level of imbalance can be transformed into wellness, the
series "Creating Miracles" can be taken for certification. This is a good starting point for practitioners who work with
a variety of conditions.
In collaboration with SAINT : Springfield Academy for Integral Natural Therapy, we also provide
classes in basic energy medicines and nutrition. Classes are available on-line and in person, in Milwaukee.
We await CEU accreditation for
professional development, and, in the meantime, provide certification.
Practitioners can become certified as Holopaths, begin teaching
with supervision in as little as seven weeks, and can continue to provide a very high level of service to anyone seeking alternative
care through personal transformative practice.
