Rhythm From the Inside Out

Rhythm is not something we have to learn; it is our innate gift. Our heart beats rhythmically; our breathing is an autonomic bodily function.

In this three-hour class, participants are guided through a direct experience of shared rhythm, and learn to move as a pod through a series of exercises designed to stimulate and reawaken the body's own understanding of rhythm.

Drum Circle 101

Learn the basics of drumming together, giving signals, listening to the group, basic rhythm patterns, and how to have fun in a drumming circle, whether or not you have a background in music.

Gather your circle. Set your intention. Define sacred space in your own, spiritually congruent way. Learn to let the rhythms inside of you express the music of your soul.

Mentoring Programs

Circle Leadership

Grow your skills and confidence in this ongoing relationship as you develop your own, unique style of leadership.

Mother Drum Keeper's Mentoring Program

Committing to a Mother Drum can be a powerful, life-altering decision, full of often surprising questions.

Do you participate in ceremonies?
If so, how do you honor your own spiritual authenticity while supporting other traditions?
How much do you share?
Where do you set boundaries?
When do you say "no" and how do you say it?
How do you respond to "ownership" challenges?
Do you charge for your services?

Build Your Own Mother Drum

It's well worth the effort.
