release of stored trauma and shock in the body. She has
advanced training in this modality for pre-and post-natal

Nashalla has trained many
who went on to become certified in Jin Shin TARA since 2002.
Incorporating Tibetan and Ayurvedic medical techniques, as
well as integrating her 10+ year fascination and study of
traditional Taoist 5 Element Acupuncture methods she works
from her own approach. Trained for 1 year in Plant Spirit
Medicine, under Elliot Cowen, founder, she uses this method
with her training.
Much of her clinical work
has surrounded the treatment of spinal and head injuries, MS
and nervous-system disorders, those with long term depression,
anxiety and addiction disorders. She especially enjoys working
with children recovering from PTSD and children with ADD,
ADHD. She has experience helping those seeking alternatives to
come off prescription drugs for depression and minor
disorders. These clients work with Nashalla alongside their
licensed MD’s to achieve their goal.
At Naropa University
Nashalla began her Tibetan Medical studies with a Western MD
practicing Tibetan Medicine within his family practice for
over 20 years. She went to Nepal for further study and to
research her thesis on body-mind-spirit based healing from the
Asian medical perspective. She received permission to practice
Tibetan Medicine and to use the traditional dietary herbal
supplements in 2003. She assisted the Tibetan Medicine classes
at Naropa in addition to running clinics and seminars with
visiting Tibetan Doctors.
Her strong desire to know
the Tibetan Medicine system completely from the original
texts, led to her move to India where she studied for two
years in Darjeeling. She studied Tibetan Medicine under
doctors from the Chagpori Clinic and Tibetan language
at Manjushree Center for Tibetan
Culture. She treated patients alongside Tibetan
Doctors at the clinic, other patients in Darjeeling, and
continued to consult with clients vie e-mail and phone in the
USA. She taught a Jin Shin TARA, acupressure and massage class
to the students of the Chagpori Tibetan Medical School in the
fall of 2006 and translated the materials from English into
Tibetan with the help of a doctor to further assist the
students in learning the materials.
Nashalla married Dr. Tsundu Sengye
Nyinda, from the Chagpori Tibetan Medical Institute. They
maintain a private practice treating patients and giving
lectures and workshops around the USA. After returning from
India, Nashalla completed her degree as a fully trained
Tibetan Doctor at the Shang
Shung Institute of America graduating in
2009.
While at the Shang Shung Institute
for Tibetan Medical studies, Nashalla became certified in the
art of Tibetan Massage. Known as Kunye Therapy, it belongs to
the grouping of of gentle external therapies taught in the
Tibetan Healing Science Tantras.
The function of Kunye Therapy is to
soothe and relax tensions, relieve stress, insomnia, nerve

body. It has great therapeutic value to relieve a variety of
ailments in a soft and non-invasive manor. Kunye Therapy
