Team Rescue is proud to be competing for rescue dogs nationwide, directly raising money for Dallas/Fort Worth Labrador Rescue

Laura McConnell and Trinity:

After doing her part for dogkind for 2 1/2 years, a black Lab mix research dog from Texas A&M went home to a loving family.  Although she didn't know much about being a pet, this dog star soon mastered obedience and retrieving.  Then, she launched herself into dock jumping and has been doing it ever since.  She soon will try her paw at water rescue, too!  She is proud to lend a paw to other Labradors in need, because she remembers the days before a forever home dream came true for her!  And although this born and raised Texas Aggie is also proud to have served dogs and humans everywhere, nothing compares to flying off the dock!

Cindy Snowden and Cheyenne:

"The Ark" in Lacon, Illinois found Cheyenne and three siblings, as pups, by a creek in the middle of winter.  We adopted this Black Labrador/Shepard mix at 3 mo old.   In addition to dock jumping, she competes in agility and flyball.

Favorite pastime:  Retrieving a tennis ball from the water
First DockDogs event:  Indy Feb 18-20, 2005
How I learned about DD:  Was a spectator to the 2004 Great Outdoor Games in Madison, WI
How I learned about upcoming events:  I finally bought a computer and started reading the message board on www.dockdogs.com
What I learned:  I should have bought a computer a lot sooner!

Mark Stuart and Hogan:

Hogan was living in a canyon before being taken in by Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue.  He was to be euthanized because of his extreme dog aggressiveness, but his DockDogs training turned his life around.  The confidence and trust he gained in himself and his handler Mark changed his personality forever.  He soon was one of the top ranked DockDogs in the nation.  Featured on National Geographic Television's  Dogs With Jobs along with appearances on ESPN, ABC, NBC and many other newscasts he has been seen in millions of homes worldwide representing the good that rescue programs have to offer.
