In essence basing and then reshaping found sounds into a whole new existence. My only concern being the final by-product and not the ingredients. Afterall is it not perception that truly makes the difference anyhow?

Our daily lives are constantly bombarded with information and yet we choose to ignore what is not amusing to our senses. But our unconscious is always at work even when we are not aware, constantly working and recording our experiences.

I keep realizing that we are all truly based on what came before us, whether it is the DNA of our ancestors or the random samples of life captured as zeros & ones in our modern day Hi8 video cameras and samplers that we adore so much. I believe we should not be overwhelmed by all the technology that surrounds us, but instead use it as inspirational tools for creation and exploration. Based is what we are and debase is what we should do.
