Right around New Years 2005 we quite literally stumbled across the fact that Silver Streak made a slide
in camper....this began our quest to own one of our very own. This is a 1969 Silver Streak Slide in Camper. Fully self contained,
with a full shower/bathroom just to the right of the entrance door..you can just see the glass door of the bathroom area.
It has wood cabinets that run the length of the camper above the kitchen area & dining area. A closet is to the right
of the entry door & the overhead bunk is about a queen sized bed space.
**Note** We eventually were able to purchase this camper & have it currently in storage while we impatiently wait
to begin it's resoration...boy do the camper & trailer together make a sweet pair!!
This picture above shows the "boot" that goes from the camper to the cab of the truck.
The picture below shows the tie down system - this piece originally would have gone into the rail holes along the
side of the truck bed.
