We were very lucky to find all of the appliances in good working order & only needing a bit of tweaking.
Even the water system was in sound condition, in the kitchen anyway, we discovered otherwise a bit
later in the bathroom.
At first we only thought the biggest task here would be the refinishing of the woodwork & a good cleaning
would top it off.
Little did we know....

The above & below pictures show the kitchen as we found it.
What looks like white paneling in the below picture is actually that textured plastic sheeting that you
commonly see in showers. The former owner had intended to cover all of the walls with it., Horrors!

During the cleaning process the kitchen wall had a "spongy" feeling to it. This led to the discovery more
water damage from a leaky window.
Careful removal of the thin aluminum tiles, mapping & numbering each, were to be shortly followed by
replacing the wall & meticulously reinstalling the tiles.

By August 2003, the tiles are reinstalled with a minimum of error with the exception of a single 1/2" by
2" piece I have no idea where it came from or where it should have gone!
Makes for a handy sample piece anyway.
