Statement of Faith
We believe in one God revealed in three
persons, The Father, The Son, and The
Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired word
of God. That Jesus Christ is the same
yesterday, today, and forever.
We believe in His atoning death through His
shed blood for our sins as well as our sickness and diseases.
We believe in a personal salvation through
receiving Jesus Christ into your life as both
Lord and Savior.
We believe there is a filling of the Holy Spirit
that is available to every Christian who, in
faith, asks for it. We believe in the present
ministry of the Holy Spirit. By His indwelling,
the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life
and is empowered to do the “greater works”
that Jesus said we would.
We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit as
listed in 1 Corinthians 12. We believe in the
fruit of the Holy Spirit as listed in Galatians
5, which we believe empowers the gifts of
the Holy Spirit.
We believe, as servants in this ministry, we
are to minister to others with the love and
compassion of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe this ministry is an outreach of
the church of Jesus Christ and place ourselves
under that covering.
"And these signs will follow those who
believe…They will lay hands on the sick
and they will recover". Mark 16:17-18
How Sunland Tujunga Healing
Rooms Began
In Sept. 2002 a group of intercessors
felt God's call to dig the wells of healing in the foothills of Sunland Tujunga. Together we began a season of prayer
and fasting.
After 7 months The Healing Rooms of Sunland Tujunga became the
118th member of the IAHR and opened our doors April 17, 2003. Our Prayer Team of 20 believers from 8 area churches
are available Thursday evenings to Pray with you for your needs.

How the Healing Rooms began…
In 1908, God sent John G. Lake to Africa where he helped to establish over 100 churches.
Upon returning to Spokane, Washington he rented a suite in the Rookery Building and there began to pray for
the sick. It was known as the Healing Rooms. Over a five-year period, there were over
100,000 documented
healings. The U.S. Government declared Spokane the healthiest city in the world. Lake’s healing and preaching
ministry spanned 35 years from 1898 until his death in 1935.
It continues with Cal Pierce’s vision…
Cal and Michelle Pierce attended Bethel Assembly Church in Redding, California where Cal served
as a board member and elder. In June of 1996, he was powerfully touched by revival. God gave him an insatiable
hunger for all he could learn on healing, past revivals and moves of the Holy Spirit.
Cal felt God was drawing him to Spokane, Washington and by faith he moved there in November of 1997. Through much prayer
and a 40-day fast Cal heard God say in February of 1999, “There is a time to pray and a time to move.” There was no
doubt that God wanted to re-dig the generational wells of healing in Spokane. Cal called in intercessors and
began training healing teams. On July 22, 1999 the Spokane Healing Rooms of John G. Lake were reopened.
By the end of that summer there were 50 Healing rooms nationally. By July 2004 the Healing rooms had grown to over 257
worldwide.
