I have always had and affinity for animals. My parents, especially my Dad, raised myself and sisters to revere nature,
respect the environment, and learn from the plants and animals. It's no surprise that I am drawn to like-minded folk and they
to me. One such couple are very dear friends I lovingly refer to as Doctor and Mrs. Doolittle...these folks just don't have
the work "NO" in their vocabulary when it comes to taking in any stray, abandoned or otherwise needy critter (regardless of
species!)... It was a chance trip accompanying Doc to a local pet supply store in search of an adequate home for a rescued
green snake found near frozen in his yard the night before that I met in person my first hedgehog...
