	My life is literally filled with magick, moonbeams and, yes, hedgehogs! I have always been more of a night person, thus the moonbeams. I am wiccan, so far out of the broom closet I forgot where the door was, and thus the magick. I am priestess of the Circle of Amber Moon, a hive from the Circle of Amber Rose. And I am proudly enslaved to two wonderful prickly hedgie persons...so much that friends get on me about my "obsession" though I'd prefer to think of it more as a "passion"! I enjoy cross-stitch, rubber stamp art, ceramics, teaching and speaking on wicca and related subjects, and anything hedgehog related!
	My first memory of falling in love with hedgehogs came well over a decade ago when People magazine ran a one page photo and paragraph introducing Duke, two weeks old, still "naked and blind", born to a litter at Busch Gardens, Tampa. I still have that page...it is now lovingly a part of the series of scrapbooks/journals I keep for my own hedgeherd and rescue! I thought he was the most fascinating critter I'd ever seen. I also thought because he had been born in a zoo-like facility, I would never see his kind in a pet market...Little did I know !
