How is your current emotional state? I have noticed some of my students feeling a little sad and/or angry the last couple
of days. One way to change this is through the transformative power of Conscious Breathing, which can help transmute stress
and the dark emotions into Presence, Understanding, and Compassion.
BREATHE!!
NOW is as good a time as any for emotional empowerment and spiritual evolution!
*Helpful hints for better meditating- Face the main door or the main flow of energy so your subconscious in not on guard
(a feng shui master position or warrior pose, always know when your enemy approaches). If that is not possible only partially
close your eyes so you may see when someone approaches.
Sit up straight, loosen your waist
Close or half-close your eyes.
Relax your shoulders,
Relax your neck,
Relax your jaw,
Relax your chest
and Relax your belly.
Begin to breathe slowly and deeply:
Inhale fully, drawing in life-force chi
Exhale, relax completely,
Relax, let go...of all negative energies,
Relax, let go... feelings,
Relax, let go... emotions,....
Once you begin to feel more serene,
Imagine that you radiate waves of peace
Imagine that you radiate waves of compassion
Imagine that you radiate waves of Love around you with each exhalation...
Continue as long as you like.
Whenever you feel stress, anxiety, or frustration, perform this exercise for a few minutes, then reevaluate the stressful
situation from a more tranquil perspective (a heart space).
You can change our world one breath at a time.......
