MAGIC

The primary principle of magic is connection.
The universe is a fluid, ever changing energy pattern, not a collection of fixed and separate things. What affects one thing affects, in some way, all things: All is interwoven in the continuous fabric of being. Its warp and weft are energy, which is the essence of Magic.

Feng Shui Tranquility
Feng Shui is translated to Wind & Water, although the meaning is much more in depth. The intuitive art of constructing residences, tombs, temples and palaces originated by ancient Chinese. Through the interpretation or the spiritual belief of feng shui the optimal environment can be obtained. Landscape, interior decor, layout, framework, color, shape, building structure, placement of objects and personal Karma are all considered within our setting of feng shui. For over 5000 years people have firmly believed that from this environmental science one can expel negativity and admit auspiciousness, as well as attain a state of longevity, happiness, wealth and prosperity.

There is more than one perception of Feng Shui; Confucius, Fu Hi, King Wen, Traditional, Compass and Black Sect Tantric or Black Hat. The two most recognized are the Compass School which is based on the directions of the Lo Pan compass with the center of your home. The Black Hat teachings is based on alinement of the door over the bagua, starting facing the Kan or Career gua. All of variations of feng shui are very intense teachings and can take several years to fully understand. Yet in all of them the bagua is used as a map (the 8 I-Ching trigrams that represents major categories of life energy).

The geomagnetic energy along the earth's surface varies and the building set on that land determines what kind of energy it will absorb. Feng Shui is used to evaluate how the energies (hills, valleys, trees, high rises, streets and so forth) interact with your dwelling and how it affects the inhabitants inside. The life forse energy (chi) is generated from the universe.

Many have moved thier sofas and beds around the room only to find the energy in the home the same, not being taught that the energy within has to be balanced first. To bring yourself in line can be done through meditation, breathing exercises, yoga, herbology, resighting mantras and visualization.

Many traditions tend to seperate the mundane and the sacred. In feng shui there is no seperation of the tangible and intangible. A great deal of happiness is associated with the comforts and conveniences of worldly objects at the physical, emotional and mental levels. This is natural. If you cannot escape from your own tendencies then you must find some way of using those tendencies in your favor and still continue growing in your spirtual path.

The orginal teachings of feng shui;
The Shen (Shaman) of the Bon Traditions of Tibet to Black Sect Tantric Buddhism
The Bon Shamanism is comparable the Native American Shaman. The Native Amer. Shaman believe the source of the illness to be the energy imbalance that humans create between themselves and all existence, by disturbing the natural elements or spirits. Their five elements are space, air, fire, water, and earth, of the four seasons, and the spirits of nature, (trees, mountains, rivers, Mother Earth, Father Sky, sun and moon, stars and clouds, etc...). Within the ancient Bon teachings the ailments are believed to be caused by the disturbance of cosmic energy (chi). The Bon Shaman reads the chi through divination, astrology or meditation to discover the imbalances of the five elements (water, metal, earth, fire & wood) to find the nature of the shar chi (bad energy) and the way to remove it by enacting sacred rituals or recomending cures to reestablish a harmonious relationship.

The history of Black Sect Tantric Buddhism originated from the indigenous Bonpa, before the introduction of Indian Buddhism. Tibet's oldest religion, the Bon tradition are found in cultures throughout the world. The beliefs are based on the balance of the relationship between humanity and nature. The founder of the spiritual Bon tradition, was Tonpa Shenrab Miwoche. There is a myth that Shenrab first studied Bön in the heavens, and at the end of his education he pledged at the feet of the God/Goddess of Compassion to guide the people of this world through enlighenment.

The healing rites of the Bon Traditions wisdom is used to harmonize imbalances of nature, by working on reestablishing good relationships with the elements. A follower of this teaching was called a Bonpo and the ancient term for a shaman or master practitioner of Shenrab's teachings is Shen.

The convergence of Bon Traditions with Buddhism evolved with the 33rd Abbot of Menri Bonpo Monastery, His Holiness Lungtok Tenpai Rinpoche, the supreme leader of Bon spirituality. As the various traditions of Tibetan Tantric Buddhism spread into China, Kagyu, Sakya and Gelug the religious purity was maintained by the Tantric Buddhism essence. Only the Black Sect (Black representing the pure teachings of all the colors of the monasteries) absorbed Chinese philosophies into the cultural inputs of Tibet and India, as well as Taoism, Confucianism, I-Ching, Feng Shui, Holistic Healing, Divination and Esoteric Buddhism.

His Holiness Grandmaster Professor Lin Yun

Bringing the teachings of feng shui to the U.S.

Throughout the Chinese history the Tibetan Buddhist Lama always lived in the palace to protect the King. The Lama was the only one trusted by the king because he knew the Lama would die to save the king. In the Ching dynasty the palace was given to the temple. Only the most powerful Lamas lived in the temple at the time of WWII. When the temple was distroyed all but one Lama was killed, this is the Lama that secretly taught Professor Lin Yun.

The source of the modern Black Sect Tantric Buddhism, His Holiness Grandmaster Professor Lin Yun, was born in Beijing and began studying Black Sect Tantric Buddhism by his guru, Lama Da-De at the Yong-He Palace at six years of age. Since then he has been taught by many other Buddhist masters, distiguished scholars and philosophers. After years of study and meditation, Professor Lin Yun has achieved heartfelt spiritual insight and abilities using them to help numerous people to find thier Tao (the path or process of all things in nature are created). Grandmaster Professor Lin Yun has been teaching his insightful knowledge of the sacred traditions of the East to the contemporary West for over three decades.

Professor Lin Yun has taught I-Ching, Tang Dynasty Poetry, Calligraphy, Holistic Healing, Feng Shui, Taoism, as well as various meditation methods always regarding other regious faiths with both an open mind and the utmost respect. By incorporating modern knowledge of medicine, psychology, architecture, ecology, the study of colors, social sciences along with theories established by himself, Professor Lin Yun has been able to clarify and expand the ancient Buddhist teachings of Bon.

In 1998, His Holiness Lungtok Tenpai Rinpoche led four high lamas to the United States from India. They conducted enthronement ceremonies in the Lin Yun Temple in Berkly, California and Lin Yun Monastery in Long Island, New York to officially present Professor Lin Yun the title of 'His Holiness' of the Black Sect Tantric Buddhism. This was the first time in the history of the Bon Traditions to present such an honor to a Chinese.
