OUR
GOAL IS TO BE THE SAME CHURCH DESCRIBED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT.
Our aim is to be identified with the Christians of the first century. This is only possible for all who will honestly learn,
believe and be guided by the plain teaching of God’s word alone, as found in the New Testament. When Jesus declared the
Word of God to be “the seed of the kingdom” (Luke 8:18),
He was emphasizing a known fact of nature, that specific kinds of seed, when planted, will always and only produce
after their kind. For example, corn seed will always and only produce corn. In like manner the
Word of God, when planted in the open and honest hearts of an individual, and then obeyed by that person, will
only produce a Christian and only a Christian (not a hyphenated Christian - i.e. Catholic-Christian;
Lutheran-Christian; etc.), just as God's Word did in the first century – nothing more and nothing less.
It
is our sincere prayer and goal to teach all men and women of accountable age to respect the authority of the Bible alone,
by following its pattern for TRUE New Testament Christianity.
