Louis Bamberger & Company are merged in to the R.H. Macy Company, and the broadcasting licenses become part of the Bamberger Broadcasting Service.
1950:
The Bamberger Broadcasting Service is merged into Thomas S. Lee Enterprises d/b/a The Don Lee Broadcasting System division of General Teleradio.
1952:
Thomas S. Lee Enterprises d/b/a The Don Lee Broadcasting System division of General Teleradio is renamed General Teleradio.
1955:
General Teleradio is renamed RKO Teleradio Pictures upon General Tire's acquisition of RKO Radio Pictures.
1956:
December: RKO Teleradio Pictures is renamed RKO Teleradio.
January 1957:
RKO Teleradio is renamed RKO General.
