Vista has undergone extensive development in the area of Digital Media. Security and content protection have been developed to the point where CableLabs will be certifying PCs with CableCard slots, enabling Digital CableTV reception/recording including High Definition. PCs will actually be Digital Cable Ready (DCR) in the same sense as TVs are.
