Alot of mystery still surrounds what exactly are Vista and ViiV.
ViiV is Intel's initiative in hardware specifications for Digital Media.
A variety of specifications are set for PCs by ViiV:
ViiV Technology Page Product Spec (PDF)
ViiV starts with a Dual Core Intel processor. In addition to the Core2 Duos now being pushed,
"Other Intel® dual-core processors include the Intel® Core™2 Extreme processor, Intel® Core™ Duo processor, Intel®
Pentium® D processor, and Intel® Pentium® processor Extreme."
In the Home Network, ViiV represents a plug and play initiative to make connecting network components as easy as USB peripherals.
