DOT#210.382.014 Student will acquire skills to enter bookkeeping data
into computerized accounting program (QuickBooks), analyze data such
as cash flow and budget (Excel), compose business correspondence such
as letters, memos and insert clipart (Word) and post debits/credits,
keep track of accounts payable/receivable, payroll and journal entries
(Bookkeeping).
General Office Wordprocessor -
DOT#209.562.010 Student will acquire skills in composing business correspondence
such as letters and memos and inserting clipart (Word) and analyzing
data such as cash flow, budget, inventory, and working with charts (Excel).
Computerized Inventory Specialist -
DOT#222.387.026 Student will gain thorough working knowledge on maintaining
a Computerized Inventory File System. Student can obtain employment
in Customer Service, Dispatcher, Shipping/Receiving Clerk, Order Entry
and Data Entry Clerk.
Graphic/Web Design & Desktop Publishing
- DOT#141.061.018 Student will acquire skills in photo
editing (Photoshop), text and layout design (QuarkXpress), graphic design
(Illustrator) for the Macintosh and graphic design (CorelDraw) for PC
enabling him/her to work in a printing company, advertising or marketing
company.
Silk Screening/Sign/Banner Designs
- DOT# 979.684.034 Student will acquire skills in graphic design (CorelDraw)
for PC as well as learn to work with a screen press or work bench to
make t-shirts, mugs, banners, and signage.
Medical Records Biller
- D.O.T. # 214.482.018 Student will learn terminology used in a medical
office (Medical Terminology), diagnostic and procedure coding (Medical
Coding), scheduling appointments, preparing receipts, entering patient
charges (Medical Pegboard), input patient, doctor and insurance information
into the computer as well as issue insurance bills and calculate payment
schedules (Medical Manger), learn to compose business correspondence
such as letters and memos and insert clipart (Word).
Medical Receptionist -
D.O.T. # 205.362.018 Student will acquire skills for working in a front
office such as scheduling appointments, preparing receipts, entering
patient charges (Medical Pegboard), familiar with terminology used in
a medical office (Medical Terminology), and compose business correspondence
such as memos and letters and insert clipart (Word).
Security Guard - DOT#372.667.034
Student will learn the role and responsibility of a Security, the difference
between a Security Guard and Peace Officer, Terrorism and the importance
of being able to observe and report during or after an incident/offense
occurs.
