The HBHS Alumni Association was formed in 1992 by a group of Huntington Beach High School Alumni. It is open for all
who attended HBHS, whether or not they graduated from HBHS.
The main purpose of the Association is to provide a means for HBHS alumni to maintain a link with other alumni. To this
end, the HBHS Alumni Association:
• Maintains a listing of Connectors for each graduating class along with their telephone numbers. These Connectors
will assist alumni when looking for classmates, reunion news, etc.
• Maintains a directory of all subscribing members of the HBHS Alumni Association. This directory is updated and
distributed to each paid member in February each year. The directory is also sent to each new subscriber.
• Publishes The Pipeline quarterly. The Pipeline is a newsletter which contains news of alumni and upcoming events.
The Pipeline is also sent to each paid up subscriber and to each new subscriber.
• Provides scholarships to deserving Seniors each year.
• Provides funds for seniors in need to purchase their yearbook.
•Supports the HBHS Foundation by providing funds toward renovation and preservation projects at Huntington High.
• Sponsors an annual Hometown Picnic each summer – The picnic is open to all alumni and spouses or
guests, and the picnic this year will be at the Lake Park and is always held the last Sunday in July. Visit
the Events page at this site for more details.
• Promotes the Homecoming Football Game each fall. We encourage alumni to attend and to sit in a reserved rooting
section.
We hope you will find this site useful for information regarding scholarship donations, membership, alumni news and events.
