Here is a picture of Cantor Rick Berlin, the Spiritual Leader of our congregation. Cantor Rick has been here since July, 2003.
His dedication to Judaism and to Parkway Jewish Center are strengths from which we all benefit, are uplifted and can take
comfort. Cantor Rick is married to Mary and they have two wonderful daughters and three fantastic grandchildren.

A Special Message to all who are thinking about joining us here at PJC:
Hi --
I am Cantor Rick Berlin, the Spiritual Leader of Parkway Jewish Center. We look forward to meeting you and your family.
PJC is a small, unaffiliated conservative synagogue. We are fully egalitarian, with women and men serving on the board
(including as officers) and all members being recognized for all Bimah honors. Our Religious School provides personalized
Jewish education for all of our children -- last you we had nine students from ages 7 - 14 in our school.
Because we are small, we offer advantages that larger "B'nai Mitzvah Mills" cannot. We help each child learn
to the best of their ability. I myself teach each and every B'nai Mitzvah student. Many previous students now read Torah
regularly, and often repeat their Haftorah on an annual basis. We can count on many of them to conduct services, and most
our of graduates -- even if they have moved away -- remain involved in Jewish life. In a similar manner,

our Adult Education Programs are designed with input from congregants so they will be relevant to their interests and
needs. Members can easily become involved to the fullest extent that they desire in assuring that the Congregation meets their
needs now and in the future.

Our Office Administrator can send you more information about us or a membership packet for you to review. As the home
of Dues You Choose, membership at PJC is affordable to families and individuals at all levels. The members of our congregation
look forward to meeting your and your children and, if you see fit, we hope that you all will become part of our family at
PJC. The date of our next special event service -- our Friday Night Fusion -- will be posted on other pages of this website.
