The V-berth is just forward of the Head. Most brokers would advertise this area as containing two berths ... and I guess it WOULD accommodate two people, if they were good friends! But in reality, this area is more conducive to sleeping one person.
In addition to the two original berths running along each side of the hull, we have added an easy-to-install/remove "plate" that basically converts the entire cabin into one large berth. So there is plenty of room on the aft end of this "berth." But the sleeping area gets more and more narrow to fore. The extreme forward end of the V-berth opens into the chain locker.
The entire area under the berths contains storage lockers. There is a high cabinet mounted to starboard (shown in photo above). This cabin has a 24"x24" hatch, which opens onto the foredeck. The hatch is fitted with a (removable) screen.
