Companionway

The photo of our friend Frank is taken from the Salon, looking aft. You can see the bright sunshine flooding down into the companionway through the open hatch. The stairs to the right of Frank lead up to the cockpit. In front and to Frank's right you can see the below-deck engine controls and other Nav Station items. You can also see the tongue-and-groove woodwork overhead, and the low bulkhead which separates the Salon from the Nav Station (to starboard) and Galley (to port).

The other photo is also taken looking aft from the Salon. It shows a view of the galley, looking down the port passageway. These two photos were taken from just about the same location and, taken together, make a pretty decent "wide angle" view.
