the smallest player on the team and the kicker on PATs, FGs and kickoffs, had three touchdown saving tackles during the course
of the season.
Single most uplifting moment: kickoff return by Delano Howell for a touchdown on the opening kickoff vs. Bishop Amat,
six days after his father passed away unexpectedly.
Single most exciting moment: Brandon Arndt's interception return for a touchdown with 5:26 left vs. St. Bonaventure in
the playoffs to give Hart the win. Here's the link:
Brandon Arndt's game-winning interception
The two most confusing moments: the penalty for roughing the kicker (or holder) vs. Canyon when the Canyon defense blocked
the kick (turns out that someone other than the kick blocker ran into the kicker or holder); the strip/fumble return by Daniel
Vasquez vs. St. Bonaventure in the playoffs to give Hart an insurmountable 27-14 lead with 2:18 left. There were about a 20
confused kids milling around in front of the Bonnie bench completely unaware that Vasquez had stripped the ball from the rushing
and was heading down the sideline for the Hart goal. Then everyone giving chase. With the fans still trying to figure out
what was going on.
