Jim Bonds threw for 3,225 yards and 39 touchdowns for the season according to the Daily News. The Signal had his totals as
3204 and 39 touchdowns.
His two-year varsity totals: 5,702 yards and 53 TDs.
Tailback Chris Hite finished the season as the leading receiver with 88 receptions for 1,186 yards and 18 touchdowns.
He broke the previous single season receiving record of 75 set by Dale Frack in 1981. In addition, Hite also set the career
reception record at Hart with 149.
Hite (RB) and Andy Iacenda(FB)were a very effective one-two punch out of the backfield. Iacenda had 928 yards on 146
carries and 18 touchdowns. Hite had 781 yards on 107 carries and 3 rushing touchdowns. He also had 1157 yards and 19 touchdowns
receiving (per the Signal).
