Added description of Golden Valley game. Updated QB CJ Reyes stats.
Added Ty MacArthur to all time single season receiving list for yardage in a season (he's over a 1000 at this point and all
time receiving touchdowns in a season (11 so far). Unfortunately, also moved up the team on the all time points
allowed in a season.

Added description of West Ranch game, updated QB stats and, unfortunately,
added the defense into the record books. The 2009 defense is now up to sixth in "Points Allowed in a Season" with one
remaining regular season game and at least one playoff game to go. About the only good thing I can say about that is
that two of the teams on that list - 1991 and 2006 - made it to the semifinals.

Added Valencia summary and updated Reyes' QB stats and team defensive stats
(unfortunately, this game qualified for the "most points scored against Hart" list.
October 30, 2009
Added summary for Westlake game (finally!).
October 24, 2009
Added score for Saugus and descriptions for Righetti, Paraclete, Saugus and
Canyon. Still have to do Westlake.
Updated Reyes' stats on the Quarterback page.
Note regarding stats: I follow the NCAA stat-keeping rules which actually
give the quarterbacks slightly better stats than the team provides. First, a ball is considered on the next yard line
if it is completely past the preceding yard-line. For example if the refs mark the ball just past the 40 yard-line,
it's recorded as being on the 41. This of course creates some problems in stat keeping in short yardage situations.
For example if the ball is completely past the 40 (ie., and inch past the 40-yard line) it's considered to be on the 41.
If the first down is smack dab on the 41 on the QB sneaks it to the 41 but not completely beyond it, it is still on the 41
even though the ball was advanced almost a yard. It's more of a problem around the goal line when the ball past the
one-yard line but just short of the goal since it will short the runner or receiver of a yard when they take it into
the end zone -- or at least it should but the runner/receiver will always get credit for one-yard on a score even if the ball
was on the one-inch line. It happens a lot more than one would think. Second, certain plays, like a spike, are
considered "team" passes and don't count toward the QB's totals. Similarly, there can be "team" fumbles such as a snap
over the QB's head. Two other problems often come up when trying to keep accurate stats -- location is an issue.
It's pretty easy to keep track of things at COC on the home side if sit up high. It's very difficult at Valencia no
matter where you sit because the stands are so low. Same thing for the Canyon visitor's side. You can't really
see the spot of the ball. Finally, there's the problem of penalties. For example, if a QB throws a pass that goes
15 yards and there is a hold right where the receiver is tackled, the ball is backed up 10 yards for the penalty AND the down
is repeated. How does one account for the ball being advanced a net five yards but it's still the same down. It
seems that in this situation, the QB gets a completion for 15 yards but it doesn't make any sense to me when the down is repeated
that anyone gets credit for anything. I'll sort it out eventually

summaries).

the "Streaks" page (quarterfinal streak ended, added and/or corrected information regarding streaks against individual teams)
