In the 1960s, in addition to the horrible headlines that one inevitably hits (November 1963, 1968), there are some mysterious
and funny ones as well. For example, the Signal's coverage area included "Honey." Where is that? And this wouldn't
fly today: "$250,000 Unit for Retarded Kids."
Finding the scores for some years has proven very difficult. From 1960 through 1962, the Signal rarely carried the scores.
"Sports" tended to include the batting averages for the Presbyterian Softball League (I'm not kidding!). The Hart
yearbooks omit scores for the same years, usually with a comment to the effect "the team was terrible, we expect to do
better next year."
