Lover? Thief!
My money's gone! My money's gone! From when I met him when? From when
I met him then! From when I met him where? From when I met him there! Oh no! Tell him, "Go!"
by Eve Adam, a.k.a. Harmonic Eve |
This poem has the alternate title,
"Lighthearted Poem On a Serious Subject"
in the site "Harmony of Life With Harmonic Eve."
This was written much earlier than the other
poems on this site, but it does have a close connection
to the feeling of romance. It tells the
story of someone who was treated unfairly
in the name of
love. It was written in 2001 while most of the
items in this site were written in
2005 or 2006. These words came to me in this exact
order early in the morning of
July 29, 2001, while I was still in a drowsy state.
That same day I later heard of an example of this
situation. Both the poem and the example tied in so completely
with one of my mother's experiences before her death in
1984, that it seems as if she dictated
the poem to me from her new greater wisdom. The poem seemed
quite silly to me when I heard it in my mind, but I wrote it down anyway and then went back to sleep. Later I realized
that there is a message here in spite of the simplicity. Release from bondage is revealed here through
lighthearted verse.
