 From each poem's words I want to
gain comfort and give comfort
to other people who can relate to the emotions expressed, despite the fact that each person's set of circumstances is unique. For example, the poem "Choice" is intended to be meaningful to a teenage girl feeling the first stirrings of romantic love. Perhaps it could also be meaningful to a young man, not sure he is ready
for commitment or responsibility. From my own perspective,
I know it can apply to an older
couple without their previous mates.
