New Exhibit of Punk Rock Pictures

In 1997, Harlow began a series, "Remember Punk Rock" which is still underway. The series consists of drawings from photographs he took in the Punk Rock Era (1977 - 1981). He draws from projected color slides or black and white negatives on greyed paper using white and black wax cayons. Attempting to capture some of the energy of the era and the romanticizing which comes from twenty year's distance. Since he has approximately 100 photographs of the era, the series will continue for sometime. He has completed to date about 30 drawings.
