The purpose of the club us to stimulate interest in and promote
the breeding of the American Singer Canary in Texas and the surrounding states.
Our meetings at the present time are held by regular mail, email
and at the annual show.
Chapter 30's annual show is the 3rd weekend in October in the
Dallas/Ft. Worth area. The show is where all your breeding efforts come to fruition. The National American Singer Club provides
a Gold, Silver and Bronze medallions for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Singers. After winning ten Gold medallions you become a Master
Breeder. For an exhibitor to win the Gold medallion, their bird must be the best bird in the show, be bred by the exhibitor
and have a closed AS leg band registered to the exhibitor/breeder. It can take years to become a Master Breeder.
A newsletter is distributed quarterly with information to assist
all members in becoming successful breeders, and in exhibiting the American Singer Canary. We also inform members of upcoming
events with other bird clubs in the surrounding area. You are more than welcome to attend our show and hear the melodious
song of this bird. If you become a member of this club, you also have voting rights.
