[p. 350] Ensign Benjamin Warren, Thomas Clark Junr., & Josiah Morton, all of Plymouth, were appointed to appraise the real estate of Elnathan Bartlett, late of Plymouth, on 3 Mar. 1714/15. Bartlett, Joseph          Vol. 2, p. 20      Lidia Bartlett, relict widow of Joseph Bartlett, late of Plymouth, was granted administration of the estate of her husband on 18 June 1703. [p. 52] The Inventory of the personal estate of Joseph Bartlett Junr., was apparised by James Warren and Thomas Clarke on 21 Apr. 1703. [Vol. 3, p. 262-263] James Warren, Esq., Ensigne Benjamin Warren, and Capt. Charles Church, all of Plymouth were appointed to appraise the real estate of Joseph Bartlett Junr., late of Plymouth, on 17 June 1713. The inventory was presented on 17 Dec. 1713. [p. 264-265] The Settlement of the estate of Joseph Bartlett Junr., late of Plymouth, among his heirs: the relict widow, now the wife of Joseph Holmes Junr., of Plymouth, the eldest son Joseph, the second son Samuel, the third son Benjamin, and the eldest daughter Lidia, and the youngest daughter Sarah.

Bartlett, Samuel          Vol. 3, p. 255    Hannah Bartlett, relict widow of Samuel Bartlett, late of Duxbury, was granted administration of the estate of her late husband on 19 Dec. 1713. [p. 291-292] The Inventory of the personal estate of Samuel Bartlett, late of Duxbury, was appraised by Edward Southworth, John Wadsworth, and Israel Silvester, on 15 Jan. 1713/14. Mr. Edward Southworth, Mr. John Wadsworth, and Mr. Israel Silvester, all of Duxbury, were appointed to appraise the real estate of Samuel Bartlett, late of Duxbury, on 19 Dec. 1713. The inventory of his real estate was also dated 15 Jan. 1713/14. [p. 293-294] Mr. Edward Southworth, Mr. William Bruster, Mr. John Wadsworth, Mr. Israel Silvester, & Thomas Bonney, all of Duxbury, were appointed to divide the real estate of Samuel Bartlett, late of Duxbury, on 1 Mar. 1713/14, between the eldest son Benjamin, and sons Joseph, Samuel, & Ichabod. [p. 294-296] The Division of the real estate of Samuel Bartlett, late of Duxbury, was dated 19 Apr. 1714. [p. 296-298] The Division & Settlement of the estate of Samuel Bartlett, late of Duxbury, dated 2- Apr. 1714, among his heirs: the widow Hannah, and children Benjamin, Joseph, Samuel, Ichabod, Hannah, Elizabeth, Lidia, and Sarah.

Billington, Isaac          Vol. 3, p. 156    Seth Billington, of Middleborough, son of Isaac Billington, late of Middleborough, was granted administration of his father’s estate on 21 June 1712. The Inventory of the estate of Isaac Billington was appraised by Joseph Vaughan and Henry Wood on 16 Apr. 1712.

Billington, Seth           Vol. 4, p. 95      Samuel Warren, brother in law of Seth Billington, late of Middleborough, was granted administration of the estate of Seth Billington on 11 June 1718. [p. 100] The Division of the estate of Seth Billington, late of Middleborough, dated 20 June 1718, among his brothers & sisters: Samuel Warren, who is married to one of the sisters, Isaac Billington, Desire Bonney, the children of Lydia Washbourn, deceased, Elinor Warren, and Mary Wood.

Brett, Elihu                 Vol. 3, p. 109    Anna Brett, relict widow of Elihu Brett, Esq., late of Bridgewater, was granted administration of the estate of her late husband on 15 Feb. 1711[/12]. [p. 146-147] The Inventory of the personal estate of Elisha [sic] Brett Esq., of Bridgewater, who died intestate on 13 Jan. 1711/12, was appraised by Thomas Snell, Joseph Hayward, & Nathaniel Brett on 14 Feb. 1711/12. [p. 161] The Division of the estate of Elihu Brett, Esq., late of Bridgewater, who died intestate on 13 Jan. 1712, among his heirs: the relict widow Anna Brett, Mary the wife of John Willis, and Margrett, the wife of Samuel Willis.

Bryant, Benjamin        Vol. 4, p. 396    Benjamin Eaton, of Plympton, was granted administration of the estate of Benjamin Bryant, late of Plympton, on 19 May 1724. [p. 428-429] Jacob Tompson Esq., of Middleborough, Capt. Caleb Loring of Plympton, and Mr. Jacob Mitchel, of Plymouth, were appointed to appraise the estate of Benjamin Bryant, late of Plympton, on 19 May 1724. The inventory was dated 9 June 1724.

Bryant, John               Vol. 3, p. 438    Deborah Bryant, relict widow of John Bryant, late of Scituate, was granted administration of the estate of her late husband on 18 June 1716. [p. 428] The Inventory of the personal estate of John Bryant, late of Scituate, was appraised by Thomas Stockbridge and Gershom Stetson on 7 Mar. 1715/16.

Bryant, Jonathan        Vol. 5, p. 834    Capt. John Dyer, of Plymouth, was granted administration of the estate of Mr. Jonathan Bryant, late of Plymouth, on 29 Jan. 1730/31. [p. 839-841] Mr. Thomas Holmes, Mr. John Atwood, & Mr. Samuel Nelson, all of Plymouth, were appointed to appraise the estate of Mr. Jonathan Bryant, late of Plymouth, on 25 Jan. 1730[/31]. The inventory was dated 10 Feb. 1730/1.

Bumpus, Joseph         Vol. 2, p. 63      Wilbrew Bumpus, relict widow of Joseph Bumpus, late of Middleborough, was granted administration of the estate of her late husband on 21 Sept. 1705. [p. 65] The Inventory of the estate of Joseph Bumpus, late of Middleborough, was appraised by Samuel Wood and Abiall Wood on 2 Mar. 1705. [p. 120-121] The Settlement of the estate of Joseph Bumpus Sen., late of Middleborough, dated 17 Feb. 1705, mentions the widow Wibra Bumpus, eldest son Joseph Bumpus, son James Bumpus, and their six sisters Lidia, Wibra, Rebeckah, Penelope, Mary, & Mehetabel. [Vol. 3, p. 253-255] An Agreement between Joseph Bumpus, James Bumpus, Wibra Bumpus, Penelope Bumpus, & Mahittable Bumpus, all of Middleborough, heirs of their father Joseph Bumpus, late of Middleborough, and their mother Wilbra Bumpus, and also their three sisters Lidia Bumpus, Rebecca Bumpus, and Mary Bumpus, deceased, dated 2 Apr. 1713.

[p. 385-386] The Inventory of the estate of Mr. John Churchel, of Plymouth, was appraised by John Dyer, Francis Adams, & Stephen Churchel, on 19 July 1723. The Inventory of the lands, meadows & swamps of John Churchel lying in Middleborough & Plympton, was appraised by Jacob Tomson, Isaac Cushman Jr., & Jonathan Morse on 30 July 1723. [p. 386-387] The Agreement of the heirs of Mr. John Churchel, of Plymouth, dated 14 Sept. 1723, mentions his heirs: son John Churchel, Elisabeth Ellis, the wife of Joel Ellis, Rebeckah Morton, the wife of George Morton, Sarah Churchel, Hannah Churchel.

Cooke, Francis Jr.      Vol. 4, p. 426    Ruth Cooke, of Plympton, was granted administration of the estate of her husband Francis Cooke Junr., late of Plympton, on 20 June 1724. [Vol. 5, p. 582-583] Mr. John Washburn, & Mr. Gershom Bradford, of Plymouth, and Mr. James Bearce, of Plympton, were appointed to appraise the estate of Francis Cooke Jr., late of Plymouth, on 20 June 1724, the inventory was dated 11 Dec. 1724, and Ruth Ring, administratrix on the estate of her former husband, Francis Cooke Jr., gave her oath to the inventory.

The inventory was dated 22 June 1715. Washburn, Josiah       Vol. 7, p. 10      Edward Richmond, of Taunton, and Sarah Washburn, of Bridgewater, widow of Josiah Washburn, late of Bridgewater, were granted administration of the estate of Josiah Washburn on 1 Dec. 1733.

Washburn, Josiah       Vol. 12, p. 21    Nathan Washburn and Josiah Washburn, both of Bridgewater, yeomen, were granted administration of the estate of Josiah Washburn, late of Bridgewater, yeoman, on 1 Apr. 1751. [p. 171-172] The Inventory of the estate of Josiah Washburn, late of Bridgewater, was appraised by Josiah Edson jur., Solomon Lenard, & Benja. Willis junr., on 5 Apr. 1751.

Washburn, Noah        Vol. 4, p. 70      Elisabeth Washbourn, relict widdow of Noah Washbourn, late of Bridgewater, was granted administration of the estate of her late husband on 20 June 1717. [p. 19] The Inventory of the personal estate of Noah Washbourne, late of Bridgewater, was appraised by Joseph Shaw and Eliezer Carver, both of Bridgewater, on 8 May 1717. [Vol. 5, p. 105] The Settlement of the personal estate of Noah Washbourne, late of Bridgewater, dated 24 July 1719, all settled upon Elisabeth Harris, who was the widow of Noah Washbourne, now the wife of Isaac Harris, of Bridgewater, for the bringing up of the children of Noah Washbourne, deceased.

Washburn, Rowland   Vol. 34, p. 9      Rowland Thacher, of Wareham, yeoman, was granted administration of the estate of Rowland Washburn, late of Wareham, mariner, on 13 Aug. 1794.

Waterman, Anthony   Vol. 3, p. 353    Elizabeth Waterman, relict widow of Anthony Waterman, late of Marshfield, was granted administration of the estate of her late husband on 31 June 1715.

Waterman, Samuel     Vol. 4, p. 84      Bethiah Waterman, relict widow of Samuel Waterman, late of Plympton, was granted administration of the estate of her late husband on 2 May 1718. [p. 154] The Settlement of the estate of Samuel Waterman, late of Plympton, among his heirs: two children her had by his first wife, Anne & Mary Waterman, being what fell to them out of the estate of their grandfather Robert Ransome, eldest son Samuel Waterman, youngest son John Waterman, and daughters Anne Waterman, Mary Waterman, and Elisabeth Waterman.

Watson, John             Vol. 6, p. 73      Mrs. Priscilla Watson, widow and relict of John Watson, Esqr., late of Plymouth, and Nathaniel Thomas, Esqr., of Plymouth, were granted administration of the estate of John Watson, Esqr., deceased, on 25 Sept. 1731.

West, Richard            Vol. 5, p. 319    Elisabeth Wast, of Middleborough, was granted administration of the estate of her husband, Richard Wast, late of Middleborough, on 17 Nov. 1727.

Western, Edmund       Vol. 5, p. 318    Benjamin Western, of Plympton, was granted administration of the estate of his father, Mr. Edmund Western, late of Plympton, on 7 Nov. 1727.

Willis, John                 Vol. 6, p. 249    John Willis, of Bridgewater, was granted administration of the estate of his father John Willis, late of Bridgewater, on 4 Dec. 1732. The inventory of his estate, dated 14 Dec. 1732, included deeds of gift to his son John Willis, and to his daughter Mary Packard.

Wood, Abiel               Vol. 4, p. 189    Abijah Wood & Elnathan Wood, both of Middleborough, were granted administration of the estate of Abiel Wood, late of Middleborough, on 18 Dec. 1719. [p. 216-217] The Division of the estate of Abiel Wood, late of Middleborough, dated 23 June 1720, among his heirs: his widow, the eldest son Elnathan, sons Abiel, Timothy, Thomas, Abijah, & Ebenezer, and daughter Jerusha.

Wood, Barnabas         Vol. 5, p. 805    Deacon Ephraim Wood, of Middleborough, was granted administration of the estate of Barnabas Wood, late of Middleborough, on 18 Dec. 1730.

Wood, David              Vol. 4, p. 63      David Wood, son of David Wood, late of Middleborough, was granted administration of the estate of his father on 11 Apr. 1718. [p. 124-125] An Agreement of the heirs of David Wood, late of Middleborough, dated 8 July 1718, between sons John Wood, David Wood, and Jabez Wood.

Wood, James             Vol. 5, p. 406    Mr. Jonathan Wood, of Middleborough, was granted administration of the estate of his father, James Wood, late of Middleborough, on 21 Dec. 1728.
