Voices of Civil Rights (http://www.voicesofcivilrights.org/) features a searchable online archive of selected oral histories submitted by people from across the country and from all walks of life.

Civil Rights in Mississippi Digital Archive (http://www.lib.usm.edu/~spcol/crda/index.html) includes oral histories, photos, and other digitized resources.

Civil Rights Documentation Project (http://www.usm.edu/crdp/) is based at the University of Southern Mississippi and includes selected oral history transcripts and a Civil Rights timeline.

Civil Rights Movement in Kentucky Oral History Project (http://162.114.3.83/civil_rights_mvt/) This online database/catalog provides access to audio and video excerpts, and over 10,000 pages of searchable transcriptions. The site also includes curricular resources for K-12 teachers.

Television News of the Civil Rights Era 1950-1970 (http://www.vcdh.virginia.edu/civilrightstv/) features films and summaries, primary documents, oral histories, and classroom applications.

The Rise and Fall of Jim Crow (http://www.jimcrowhistory.org/home.htm) was originally developed in support of the PBS Peabody Award-winning series of the same name. Includes a wealth of resources for the teaching of history, geography, and literature.

THE PEOPLE OF THE MOVEMENT:

Civil Rights Movement Veterans (http://www.crmvet.org/) among other resources, this site includes a comprehensive listing of CRM veterans and their contact information if available.

The HistoryMakers (http://www.thehistorymakers.com/) is a comprehensive archive of African-American figures in American history.

MUSEUMS:
Birmingham Civil Rights Institute (http://www.bcri.org/index.html) "Our mission is to encourage communication and reconciliation of human rights issues worldwide, and to serve as a depository for civil rights archives and documents."

National Civil Rights Museum (http://www.civilrightsmuseum.org/) is located in Memphis, Tennessee.
