Nestled in the hills of the Mountains San Berdoo,
Hallcienda is inhabited by retired teachers, two.
They revel in serenity and solitude and peace.
They love the privacy; and care not for much ease.
Of problems and disasters they have more than just a few.
Fires and floods and cougars could keep residents all blue.
But the pallet of God’s colors makes their Hallcienda bright
And pleases all the senses like hearing, smell, and sight.
