Haven't been able to post this week since receiving the dreaded call this past Monday - "We need your help on the 'special project' - dump everything else and get started!" Uh, dude, dump everything else on exactly whom? or who? or whatever. It's not like anybody else is sitting around waiting to do my work for me. So as usual, it means I work the special project during the day and do my day job at night. Hence, silence on the blogging front. Oh, and on top of that I did take the time to go to the dentist to find out why my tooth is hurting and found out that it's split, front to back, nothing we can do except refer you to an oral surgeon broken. Fuck. It didn't help all that much that the technician gushed about how "awesome" this guy is - he's still going to have to cut my frickin' tooth out, which has only ever happened with my wisdom teeth. And I won't even be able to get in to see him for a consultation until Thursday at the earliest because of my own schedule.
But at least I've got a ticket to the Open!
