Last Weekend

Headed up to VA last Friday to visit PC and Kelly and family, as a result of which many hugs were hugged, a vast many words were spoken, beer was consumed, games (both video and non-) were played, cartoons were viewed, dogs were walked and petted, music was listened to, books were discussed, good food was eaten, water was sprayed on each other with abandon, porches were sat on, blue moons were viewed in awe and a tragedy was averted - what more could one want from a weekend?  So thanks to Thing 1 and Thing 2 for getting me set up on Morrowwind and for letting me win the squirt gun fight, to Kelly for excellent chili and for the loan of the DVDs, to PC for introducing me to Transmetropolitan (I'll be dropping some money with Second Foundation in the near future) and for the toonage and to the whole clan for your hospitality!  They don't make many weekends as good as that one...
