Lisa Marie Hagerman received her BS in physics from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1994 and her MS in atmospheric science
from North Carolina State University. She served for eight years as a weather officer and separated from the Air Force
in 2002. She currently lives in San Diego with her husband and two sons.
