- Atlantis Rising: Oceanographers operating off the western coast of Cuba found something quite amazing in 2002. How does a vast expanse of white sand with partially buried pyramids, structures, roads and buildings, sound?? Check the report here at Free Internet Press by researcher George Erikson. As discovery continues, this story will become much bigger. This site is some 2000 feet below the surface of the Gulf of Mexico. With obvious earth changes underway around the planet now, it is a valid question to ask: "How did this civilization end up 2,000 ft. below the ocean??
The only written references to Atlantis were from Plato, in two of his written dialogues, the Timaeus, & the Critias. However, the legend has grown to immense importance, with the discovery of the structures on Mars, the mysterious events surrounding the Lake Vostok region of Antarctica, and the strange magnetic anomaly discovered there. Adding to the high strangeness, a dozen employees of Raytheon Corporation were evacuated quickly... as news of the research into this huge lake under the ice surfaced.

Recent finds off the coast of Yunaguni, Okinawa, Japan - are intriguing in their relationship to the lost civilization of Lemuria, or "MU". Across the Pacific, ancient megalithic ruins abound... with little association to the current cultures who inhabit the islands. Etna in Sicily, Italy - in major eruptions... emitting deep, core lava of a type not evidenced in some 23,000 years - there is evidence that earth changes are becoming serious business. With the 2nd eruption on August 4 of the Mt. Mayon Volcano in the Phillipines, & the threat of flooding from Mt. Pinatubo growing, since the crater from the 1991 eruption - is filling with water & expecting to burst - the Pacific area is hot enough!
There was evidence as of 8/24/01... that Mount Rainier in Washington State... is showing more signs now... of a possible eruption! Here in the U.S. of A - this news story is "a'buildin'" even now: It seems that Mt. Rainier - the mighty Grandfather of Mt. St. Helens... has been showing signs of activity. The native american wisdom on this is: "When little sister speaks... Grandfather will answer". Little Sister spoke quite loudly in 1991 and is now speaking again as this page is updated, in 2005. One report has it that local seismologists in the area stated that Mt. Rainier was now at "Stage 2 Alert". This represents expectation for an eruption or potential 'event' within 60 to 90 days. Mt. Rainier Park was closed to the public for a time, in 2002. We'll watch for updates on this story!
