Dr. White is a counselor and psychotherapist in private practice in Chesterfield, Missouri. She was educated at the University of California and the University of Missouri. She completed an internship at St. Anthony's Hyland Center and a three year residency at a counseling agency in St. Louis. Director of The Sibling Connection, Dr. White specializes in working with individuals who experienced a loss early in life, such as the death of a parent or sibling , or the divorce of parents.
Licensed in the state of Missouri, Dr. White is also a National Certified Counselor and is a Fellow in the American Association of Experts in Traumatic Stress. She is one of the counselors who responded to the call to go to New York immediately after 9/11.
Well known for her work with bereaved siblings, Dr. White is routinely interviewed by authors, journalists, and researchers.
