The music on this compact disc captures the 4-piece Native American flute ensemble, Shilombish, during a live, one-hour lunchtime performance at the Indianapolis Arts Garden located at Circle Center Mall in downtown Indianapolis. The performance occurred on September the 20th, 2003 - a date that will stay in our memories for a long time. At the end of the last song, as echoes from our flutes reverberated through the immense glass structure of the Arts Garden, emergency weather sirens sounded and the Garden was evacuated. On that day, a tornado cut a path of destruction from the southwest to the northeast of Marion county, destroying complete neighborhoods, leveling businesses and downing hundreds of beautiful trees, some of them more than 200 years old. Miraculously, not a single human being lost their life - as a matter of fact, there were no serious injuries reported at all, although thousands of people found themselves suddenly homeless and without possessions. The trees, however, did not fare as well.

This performance is dedicated to the memories of the "standing ones" who were lost during Mother Nature's fury.
