If a bathroom is forbidden ground with dangers galore, it will be hard to trust your child to be in there for the length of
time neccessary to fgure out how to pee or poop.
Some things we can't change, the potty will still be a danger due to both the water and the germs, and the hord porcelin painful
in case of a fall. Also water faucets, if they can be turned, on are a worry due to the temperature. Plus the bathtub itself.
However many other things can be moved up or hidden in the cabnets. The safer and cleaner the bathroom the less stress mom
and dad will feel when allowing a child to expirament and hopefuly use the potty. After all if there are no toys to play
with they might just use the potty for the origional purpose!

Counter dust catchers, now is not the time for the better home and garden bathroom, put the breakable stuff up for a time.

please make sure you have a sturdy locked cabnet to keep them in. Under the sink with a cabnet lock is prolly not secure
enough for an exploring toddler, at least push them back out of arms reach, most children can fit their arms into the space
without unlatching the cabnet.

Perfume and the like

I keep mine all on a higher shelf, after decluttering all the 'stuff' that was never used, I have left a small collection
of things that get used every day, which fits nicely on a shelf by the sink, out of reach of the average toddler.

while not generally dangerous to a child, it will not be fun if you find your little one decides to us it to 'test the water'...in
the potty! If you are lucky enough to have a medicine cabnet that can hold them upright, that is great, if not try a wall
holder on the far side of where your child tends to stand to wash hands.
