This is a matter of semantics, you are trained weather to change diapers or escort children to the potty, or remind them
to clean up after.
Generally if you didn't wait till they demanded to be trained you share some of the timing responsibility, temporarily.
Really they will completly take over and you will not be calling your kid up in college to ask if he peed lately (though
you might want to ask if he cleaned the toilet :).)
My kid will pee if I suggest it but they wont ask to use it themselves.
That happens; unless you chose to wait till your child demanded to be trained you are going to have that. Just congratulate
yourself on a child who will hold it for a time and who will pee when asked to, enjoy the cost savings and know that they
will eventually take over themselves.
