The only good thing about cleaning in my mind is the extra calories burned! (ok I like a clean house too)

Pick a habit any habit

1. Sign up for flylady and start decluttering and cleaning, link at the bottom of the page.

2. Do it yourself. Wash the car by hand. Or wash the windows in the house if you have no car. Or sweep the lawn clippings instead of a leaf blower. Rake the leaves or mow the lawn yourself, instead of a service. Paint a room you've been meaning to, or just scrub the crayon off if you have small kids.

3. Add a cleaning habit. A small one that takes only a few minutes, dusting or shining a sink or wiping the bathroom sink after washing. It only takes a few minutes (if) but you burn a few calories and after you make it a habit add another one.

4. Make your bed every day, burns a couple calories, and bonus works out more of the core muscles, which boosts metabolism.
