Water water everywhere and not a drop do I drink!
IF that is you change is needed! All humans need plenty of water to survive, now I know you have read or heard about the 8
to 10 glasses a day, well we are not going to try and get a non water drinker to go from none to 8! that doesn't work very
often and besides would send the average adult running to the bathroom a bazziliion times a day!
Choose one of the following habits to focus on for the month (Hey I said it was customizable!)
1. Alternate water with any of your normal beverages, so in the habit of juice for breakfast? Drink water next. Try to squeeze
it in the morning if you really insist on pop with lunch. Then back to the water after lunch. And so on thru the day.
2. Slowly start watering down your normal beverages (use seltzer water with soda to start if need be). Start with a small
splash for a week then add a bit more till you are drinking mostly water. If you go to far and cannot drink it, back up a
pace. it isn't a sprint here it is a marathon.
3. Take advantage of absentminded sipping. Many people (myself included) tend to drink or eat more when plopped in fromt
of the TV or computer. Take advantage of that and make the beverage water (add lemon or lime if needed).
4. Any other water increasing trick you have read about tried out on kids, or thought up. However please avoid a few things,
-Limiting beverages other than water tends to reduce the total liquid intake thru the day, which is not the goal here!
-Aiming for a bazzilion glasses in a day, tends to shift the focus from more water to a chore, use it in an emergency
like illness, but for the longterm it often fails.
