Description of the Chalet
A comfortable, cozy, rustically
furnished 3-BR, 2-BA, large A-frame perched above the water's edge in a secluded, wooded
lot.
 | Great Room:
The wood-panelled, carpeted Great Room on the main floor at
the back of the house contains the kitchen area (dishwasher, refrigerator, stove,
microwave), the dining area, and the sitting area. The cathedral ceiling gives a
feeling of spaciousness, while the wall of windows overlooking the deck, the trees, and
the lake gives an intimate connection with the outdoors. Comfortable futons and
rockers, the warmth of either a hi-tech gas heater or a woodburning stove on chilly
mornings, and a stereo/CD system makes the Great Room a center of activity.

 | Bedrooms:
Two guestrooms are on the main floor near the front
entrance. One guestroom has two single beds, while the other guestroom serves either
as a small library or, with its convertable futon, as a bedroom. A full bath is on
main floor with shower/tub. A strong attic fan provides cool air on hot nights and
window A/C units are available for the guestrooms.

The master bedroom on the top floor has its own small sitting
room overlooking the Great Room and a private outside balcony. A ceiling fan is in
the MBR, which has a private full bath with a shower.

On the basement level a family room has a sitting area, a
pingpong table, and an area for table-top games. A high-tech gas heater provides
warmth on chilly days.
A utility area fills the other half of the basement and
contains the washer and dryer, hot-water heater, storage shelves, and a workbench.

The Great Outdoors:
The chalet is at the end of the road and at the end of the lake, thereby giving great
privacy. The spacious rear deck overlooks the bushes and trees of a secluded,
totally natural setting. Stroll down to the dock, launch a canoe, and quickly pass
from the channel adjacent to the chalet out into the open lake. Or simply relax or birdwatch from the deckchairs near the dock.
