A Brief History of My Buick

Here's the history as far as I've been able to piece it together so far. I hope to have more information soon, as well as some more pictures.

  • The car was originally sold to Mr. Harry Roberts in Bisbee, Arizona. The car was registered to Mr. Roberts in Warren, Arizona as late as 1960 (see Insurance and Registration Cards to the right). The plates on the car are 1961 Arizona plates.

  • After Mr. Roberts' death, the car was left to his grandson, Mr. Mills.

  • Unfortunately, nobody told Mr. Mills that the car had been left to him. It was parked under a tree for 10 years before someone asked Mr. Mills when he was going to take the car.

  • Mr. Mills lived in Phoenix, Arizona at the time and was more than happy to get his grandfather's car. He kept the car and always intended to restore it to its original state, but never got around to it.

  • After retiring, the Mills relocated to Prescott, Arizona, and the car was parked in the barn where I first saw it.

  • Mr. Mills passed away in early 2004 and I was able to purchase the Buick from his widow with the promise that it would not be hotrodded.

  • Now in my ownership, I took the car from its lifelong home of Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada
