Welcome to my project: the restoration of a 1936 Buick Special 4 Door Sedan, or as my wife calls it my new girlfriend. My kids have even given her a name, Priscilla. She's a perfect match for my other project: Elvis the Truck.

Here's how I first saw the Buick. It's been parked here for who knows how many years. It appears a bit dusty and worse for wear, but I see no major rust beyond the surface rust. Although the inside is falling apart, it's pretty much complete with every piece of trim and chrome on the car or in the boxes inside. It has 1961 Arizona plates on it. That's probably the last time it was driven.
I plan to keep these pages updated regularly with my progress in the Restoration Log section. I hope that this site can be a resource for other hobbyists and a place for us to share what we learn.
