MICHAEL EARLEY was born in Ireland probably County Leitrim,about 1820. Any relation to Daniel Earley is speculation at this point. He appears first in the city directory of 1854-55. He married Jane Moran nee McAnally June 23, 1852 at St. Mary's church in New Haven, Connecticut. He died of pneumonia on May 16, 1869 at the age of 50.
JANE McANALLY was born in Ireland about 1820. She married a Moran and appeared in the city directory of New Haven in 1851-52 as Mrs. Jane Moran. She is listed as a widow when she marries Michael Earley. I believe a son James Moran lived with them at the time of the 1860 census. Her son Robert is listed as her 9th child in the civil records. She dies about 1897, possibly in retirement home called Waverly Place in West Haven, Connecticut.
JENNIE EARLEY was born November 14, 1852 in New Haven, Connecticut. She married James F. McKenna of New York .... 1878 in New Haven. They moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1891 and havent found them yet, in the 1900 census.
BRIDGET EARLEY was born October 22, 1854 in New Haven, Connecticut. She married Dennis W. Sheehan April 22, 1877 at St John's Church in New Haven, Connecticut. The 1900 census states that she had 12 children of which 10 were living and she appears to be a widow. Last listing 1909 city directory.
WILLIAM EARLEY was born January 9, 1857 in New Haven, Connecticut. The 1881 city directory states that he has remanded to California.
MICHAEL EARLEY was born March 24, 1859 in New Haven, Connecticut. He married Ella Maloney about 1879. No record of marriage in New Haven. She is either from Australia or Connecticut, two records disagree. In 1881, he followed his brother William to California. Can't find them in the 1900 census.
ELIZABETH EARLEY was born May 6, 1862 in New Haven, Connecticut She married William Frey March 3, 1885 at St. John's Church in New Haven, Connecticut. They still resided in New Haven according to the 1910 city directory.
FATHER ROBERT J. EARLEY was born October 31, 1864 in New Haven, Connecticut. The 1920 census has him living with his sister Mary Noble, possibly his sister from his mother's first marriage. He was pastor at St. Peter's from (about) 1905 to 1920.
