The descendants of Patrick Conway and Mary Flinn are no doubt related to my family. It is possible that Mary Flinn of this page and Mary Flynn the wife of Patrick Kennedy are related, perhaps first cousin's. What we know is that the address of Patrick Kennedy when he married Mary Thompson was 81 Plane street, which is the address of Patrick Conway. Patrick Kennedy was best man at Thomas Conway's wedding. Bridget Kennedy was a godparent to Thomas Conway's first daugther.
PATRICK CONWAY was born in Ireland about 1820. We have federal census records from 1860 and 1880. They seemed to have been missed in the 1870 census. He married Mary Flinn probably in Ireland and emigrated to America in the 1850's. I have a record somewhere of a possible emigration date and boat into New York. He died between 1895 and 1900.
MARY FLINN was born in Ireland August 1927, according to the 1900 census. The 1900 census states that she had 10 children but only 2 were living by 1900. She is listed in the 1905 state census but is probably dead by 1910. Need to find her obituary.
